What your driver will do

On arrival in Joshimath, your driver will check the road condition. If it is driveable (light snow, chains can grip), they will attempt the Auli road. If not, they will take you to the gondola base station, help with ski luggage, and wait in Joshimath until your return. There is no extra charge for this — it is the standard winter protocol.
