Quick answer
Yes. Kedarnath and Badrinath can be covered in 5 days from Dehradun by private cab on a compact itinerary. The package starts at ₹22,500 for a Sedan, ₹28,500 for an Ertiga and ₹35,000 for an Innova Crysta. A 6-day plan is better for seniors, families or anyone wanting more recovery and weather buffer.
5-day route plan
This is the compact plan. Exact halts can change with official traffic controls, weather, road conditions and pilgrim movement. We do not build unsafe late-night mountain driving into the itinerary.
Start early for the Garhwal mountain drive. Overnight near the Kedarnath approach area so the pilgrimage can begin early the next morning.
Continue by the locally regulated transfer toward Gaurikund, then trek or use an officially available pilgrim mobility option. Overnight at Kedarnath.
Darshan as planned, descend from Kedarnath, reconnect with the road transfer and private cab, then rest in the Guptkashi / Sonprayag region.
Travel from the Mandakini valley toward the Alaknanda valley and Badrinath. Darshan depends on arrival time and current temple arrangements.
Morning darshan if required, then return toward Dehradun. Do not schedule a same-day flight after this full mountain-driving day; plan the flight for the following day or choose a 6-day itinerary.
Kedarnath logistics
A private cab does not drive to Kedarnath Temple. The vehicle reaches the permitted road-access area around the Sonprayag side. Pilgrims then follow the locally regulated transfer toward Gaurikund and continue to Kedarnath by trek or another officially available pilgrim option.
Keep essential medicines, ID, registration proof, warm layers, rain protection, power bank and basic day-use items in a separate bag for the Kedarnath segment.
Badrinath planning
Badrinath is reached by road through the Alaknanda valley. Unlike Kedarnath, normal Badrinath darshan does not require a long approach trek. Mana and nearby local points can be considered only when access, weather and available time permit.
On a 5-day itinerary, darshan and a safe return schedule take priority over adding every optional sightseeing point.
Transparent package pricing
These are package prices for the whole cab, not per-person or misleading per-day headline rates.

Jolly Grant Airport
Jolly Grant Airport can be the starting point for the Do Dham trip. Final drop can be planned for Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun city, Rishikesh or Haridwar as confirmed in the quotation. Share your flight timing before booking: a late arrival can make a same-day long hill drive impractical. Do not schedule a same-day flight after the Day-5 drive from Badrinath; plan the flight for the following day or choose a 6-day itinerary.
Starting-point options
Best base for the published 5-day package and easy city pickup.
Direct airport pickup when flight timing allows a safe first driving day.
Possible on request; itinerary and fare are confirmed against the pickup point.
Possible on request; the first day is planned around the extra road distance.
Best when the goal is focused Kedarnath and Badrinath darshan, the group can handle longer travel days and there is no need to add sightseeing. It leaves less room for disruption.
Better for seniors, families, travellers wanting recovery time after Kedarnath, or anyone who prefers a weather and road-condition buffer. Ask for a custom 6-day quotation.

Traveller answers
Yes. Five days is a compact Do Dham itinerary from Dehradun when road, weather and pilgrim conditions cooperate. Travellers who prefer slower days, are travelling with seniors, or want additional sightseeing should consider six days or add a buffer day.
The published 5-day private-cab package starts at ₹22,500 for a Sedan and ₹28,500 for an Ertiga. Innova Crysta is ₹35,000. These are whole-vehicle package prices, not per-person prices.
The published package includes fuel, driver allowance, toll taxes and applicable state taxes. Parking and entry charges are extra wherever applicable. Hotels, meals, helicopter, pony, palki, local regulated transfers and personal pilgrim expenses are not included unless specifically written into your quotation.
Yes, a Sedan can suit four passengers travelling with manageable luggage. For more luggage or additional comfort on a multi-day mountain trip, an Ertiga or Innova Crysta is usually the better fit.
No. Kedarnath Temple is not directly accessible by private taxi. The road journey reaches the permitted Kedarnath approach area; pilgrims then follow the local transfer and onward trek or an officially available alternative.
The driver remains with the vehicle in the permitted road-access area while pilgrims complete the Kedarnath segment. The exact meeting point is coordinated with the guest because traffic and local movement arrangements can change.

For this compact Dehradun itinerary we normally plan Kedarnath first and Badrinath second. The final sequence can be adjusted when official traffic controls, weather, road conditions or confirmed helicopter arrangements make another plan safer or more practical.
Five days is relatively fast. For seniors, families with young children, or anyone who wants more recovery time after the Kedarnath segment, a six-day plan is usually more comfortable. Travellers should also take appropriate medical advice for high-altitude travel.
September is commonly used for the post-monsoon Yatra period, but Himalayan weather and road conditions remain variable. Check current official weather and road advisories close to departure and keep some schedule flexibility.
Mana is close to Badrinath and may be possible when local access, weather and available time permit. On a compact five-day plan, the return journey should take priority over squeezing in sightseeing.
